Never have I seen a game with this much Violence.
Now with that said and knowing what your going to get yourself into, I bring you a review of untold violence, war, epicness, and vengeance. I bring you God of war 3
Graphics
With just looking at the game, it is a visual improvement of the last two games.(that being said the two last games came out on the ps2 however they did go HD on the ps3)The game itself is on par with such games as Uncharted 2 and Gears of War 2. I would go as far to say that it ramps close to Final Fantasy 13 but doesn't quiet hit it.What this game's main thing is violence and boy, does it do that well. Overall though, it is a rather visually appealing game.

Story
The Story Follows straight up from the second one with him and the Titans teaming up and one goal in mind: Rip Zeus a new hole......or a couple for that matter. But this is no simple task you see. You see Zeus is the god of all gods, meaning you have to go through all of the other gods. That includes Hades, Helios, Hermes, and Poseidon to name a few. While there isn't any twists and turns in the story it is told in such a manner that it makes you, yourself feel epic.Also on that note it gives an interesting view on Greek mythology, though some of it not true, still very interesting.
Gameplay
While the game works well for the most part, the thing you'll be dying from is the platforming because the jumping is kinda shotty. But other then that you'll be ripping Cerberus heads in no time. As usual the game has the button commands which work well for what there aimed for-killing that is. With the weapons, some of the weapons feel similar to your blades but each have there own unique qualities to them. Also this is a type of game you take your anger out on. Lets say you've had a rough day. Your Girlfriend broke up with you, you got a parking ticket, and they ran out of your favorite soda wherever you shop at. Do you put little big planet into your Ps3? Fuck no. you put in this bad boy and punch someones face in until you literally cannot see what's happening because the screen is completely red from the blood. But you know something bad is happening under all that blood. Very bad.

Presentation
Now I know that im using the word epic alot. all with great reason though as the start of the game is your on a 200 story tall titan fighting up Mount Olympus to reach Zeus. The only sad thing is that there is a fixed camera so you cant really marvel at what is happening around you and I wish that there were more titan moments. But other then that the presentation is fantastic. Now with this said it is a fantastic game but a tad on the short side. however in that short time so many things happen and in a VERY epic manner

Overall
For me, the game was fantastic and had alot of superb quality in it. Though it was on the short side and no multiplayer means that would make it a rent for me but if you have a Ps3 and had a bad day(or not), go to wherever you rent you games and pick this one up because it is a must play
